Who We Are

Our Mission

Beauty for Ashes is a Christian ministry dedicated to supporting women who have experienced pain and hardship. We seek to provide a safe and compassionate space where they can share their struggles and find hope. We desire for them to experience the deep love of Christ and find healing in Him. Our mission extends to educating the church to be a place of love, support, and non-judgment, while also equipping those in need with resources such as a supportive church family, presentations by mental health professionals, referrals to local ministries, and events to build relationships within the community. We strive to foster healing, restoration, and create a community of unwavering support while guiding those in need to salvation through Jesus Christ.

Our Beliefs

What We Believe

The Church exists to glorify God by growing, connecting, serving, and sharing the love of Christ.

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is the Head. It is made up of people growing in God, celebrating God together, connecting to each other, serving those in need, and sharing Christ in their community. The purpose of the Church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to a lost world (Ephesians 5:25-29, Colossians 1:18, Corinthians 12:27, Romans 12:5).

One true God in three persons—revealed fully through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.

There is one true God who exists eternally in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19; John 14:9; Acts 5:4,9; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

Inspired, authoritative, and without error—the foundation for faith and life.

We believe the entire Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, eternal Word of God. God gave the Bible to us through men who were moved by the Spirit to write the words of Scripture. The Bible is without error. It can and should shape the way we live (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Matthew 5:18).

Public demonstrations of faith that honor Christ’s command and reflect our salvation.

We follow our Lord’s command to give public evidence of our salvation with baptism by water and faithfully remember Christ’s cleansing blood and broken body with the elements of Holy Communion. And while water baptism and Holy Communion are not required for salvation, they are Biblical commands that, publicly, demonstrate our faith in Christ and obedience to Him (Luke 3:13-17; Acts 2:38-39; Luke 23:39-43, I Corinthians 10:16, I Corinthians 11:25-26).

Jesus restores what sin destroyed—offering eternal life to those who believe.

We believe when sin entered the world, it separated us from our creator, Holy God, and left man incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by our own effort. Salvation is by faith alone, through grace alone, and is found in Christ and what He did on the cross.

We believe that Jesus Christ will return to the earth one day for those who believe in Him and will enter Heaven to live for eternity. People who have not chosen to accept Christ will be separated from God for all eternity (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12; 3:16; 5:24; Revelation 21:27).

Proclaim Liberty
Proclaim Liberty

Rooted in Faith, with the Spirit of the Lord

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound…to comfort all that mourn; to give unto them beauty for ashes the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.  Isaiah 61:1-3
