Our Pastor
John & Linda McDonald
John McDonald has been the Pastor at Point Blank Community Church since December 7, 2017. He received Christ in 1965, surrendered to preach the Gospel in 1970 and begin Seminary school that same year.
After Seminary, God called Pastor John and his family to Nederland, Texas where he served as Youth Pastor at the Fellowship Baptist Church. Believing that God was calling them to start a church in Houston, they moved there September 26, 1975.
The first Sunday at Alderson Street Baptist Church had an attendance of 15 people. God Blessed the ministry, bringing many folks to Christ. They ministered there for 26 years.
Pastor John and Linda McDonald were married in 1967 in Corpus Christi, Texas and have 4 adult children who live in the greater Houston area and San Antonio. They have been blessed with 6 wonderful grandchildren, 5 boys and 1 girl.
Linda McDonald is a talented singer and pianist who has played for churches most her life, including Point Blank Community Church. She is very active with the Church and currently serves as the Mission Chairman. She received Christ in 1970 and has been actively serving Him ever since.
